Its SNOWING... in TEXAS... for the 2nd time in a WEEK!!
If any of you are from Texas (which most of my readers are) or know anything about Texas, you should know it rarely EVER snows here. Maybe about every 5 years and rarely anything of significance. However.....we are getting our 2nd snow for the season today and the 1st snow of the season came just a few days ago. To make things ever stranger, is the day prior to both rounds of snow were in the upper 60's-mid 70's and BEAUTIFUL. How things can change in 24 hours!! I have recently thought about the end of the world and the statement that when we no longer have seasons that it is near. Well.....I see that lately, but when you live in Texas thats pretty much the norm. We don't have a defined Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall around here. It can be 80 degrees in April, July, October or December. It can be 40 degrees in all but July (although Iwouldn't be suprised if that happened as well). Summer (temps as least) can start late April and last all the way til early November. Winter can start (but seldom does) in November and can last all they way until late March. I have lived here all my life and yet still not predict when or if we will go through all 4 seasons. I would be nice though, to have a recognizable winter, spring, summer and fall. To know that the temps are going to steadily increase or decrease with each passing day, instead of jumping around from one extreme to the other. Anyway..... doubt that I will ever see that living here. Although I probably wouldn't move either. I have shared a few pics for today's snow. ENJOY!!!
